TOASTED TROPICAL MOJITO
This cocktail by David and Moriah Sombrio won the 2022 Hard Truth Toasted Coconut Rum cocktail contest.
Contest entries were narrowed down to a top three by a panel of Hard Truth tastemakers, then industry professionals who attended a Hard Truth brunch at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans voted for their favorite.
This tropical treat that epitomizes the delicious escape of warm weather and oceanside sipping took the crown.

1 oz. Hard Truth Toasted Coconut Rum
1 oz. Hard Truth Toasted Coconut Rum Cream
1 oz. Coconut milk1 oz. Pineapple juice
8 Mint leaves, plus one whole mint sprig
½ Lime, cut into four pieces
1. Muddle half of a pineapple round, half of a lime, and mint leaves in bottom of shaker.
2. Add Hard Truths, coconut milk, and pineapple juice, then fill remainder of shaker with ice.
3. Cover, and shake to chill, then strain into a Mason glass jar over fresh ice.
4. Add ginger beer float, and garnish with mint sprig.
